Clemmons Lake

Clemmons Lake is a 5-acre lake located within Ivy Creek Park. The lake offers a fishing pier, trails, restrooms, as well as kayak and canoe rental. The pond provides freshwater fishing in a safe, family-friendly environment. The pond is stocked with trout and channel catfish seasonally and offers additional fishing opportunities for largemouth bass and sunfish.

From November 1 through April 30, Clemmons Lake is designated as a stocked trout water. This put-and-take stocked trout water provides opportunities for anglers to catch stocked trout during the colder months. All anglers age 16 and older, fishing the lake during the November 1–April 30 period, must have both state freshwater fishing and trout licenses. Designated stocked trout signs are posted at the lake.

Channel Catfish are stocked one time each spring to provide additional fishing opportunities.

    There are no public boat launching facilities. Personal kayaks and canoes must be carried from the parking lot approximately 100 yards from the lake.
