Citizen Participation Registration: DWR Board of Wildlife Resources Meeting – March 20, 2024

The Board of Wildlife Resources will meet on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Henrico Sports & Event Center, 11000 Telegraph Road, Glen Allen, VA, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive a final briefing regarding the work of the Hound-Hunters & Private Landowners Stakeholder Advisory Committee and determine what actions, if any, the Board wants to take related to this topic.

Public Participation

The public is invited to attend the meeting in person at the Henrico Sports & Event Center. The meeting will also be streamed live on the Webex platform, like prior Board meetings. Information about how to view the meeting virtually may be found here.

Public Comments

Public comments will only be taken from individuals attending the meeting in person. Please note that the Board may limit the time allowed for public comment overall, or for individual speakers, based on overall time available for the meeting. Those who wish to make in-person comments must register to do so by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2024. Following the closure of the registration period and prior to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, DWR staff will provide more details by email regarding time limits to all registered individuals. Please note that on-site registration to provide public comment will not be available for this meeting.

Individuals who may not be able to attend the meeting in person but wish to provide written comments on this topic for the Board’s consideration may submit comments to Written comments should be submitted by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2024, to provide sufficient time for conveyance to and review by Board members.
