DWR Summer Interns will be employed from May 17, 2024 – August 9. We have hired 20 DWR Summer Interns that are assigned across the regions and at headquarters. Keep an eye out for the 2024 Introduction to DWRs Summer Interns, which will introduce each intern (with a picture), which college/university they are currently enrolled in, and much more.
Comings and Goings: Please join us in welcoming Deanna Wade (back) to the Human Resource Team. Deanna will rejoin the team on May 10 as the Compensation Program Administrator. You may remember Deanna (formally Deanna Wood) from when she served as the Human Resource Generalist here from 2020 – 2022. Also, we welcome our new Assistant Human Resources Director Terri Dickerson. Terri comes to us with over 20 years of professional experience between higher education and The Maryland Zoo. Please join us in wishing Lester Brantley, Assistant Human Resource Director, and Abriel Lane, Compensation Program Administrator, a fond farewell as they begin new chapters in their professional careers. Both Lester and Abriel contributed immensely to DWR’s Human Resource programs, policies, and procedures, and leave behind a legacy of positive change and innovation that will carry momentum into the future.
