In 2015, the Virginia Wildlife Grant Program total award amount grew from $20,000 to almost $40,000. We received 59 applications totaling $176,000 and 29 projects were selected and supported at $39,300. The estimated number of youth impacted by these programs is about 4,300. Seven of the programs focused on high risk youth which included a newly designed program to teach visually impaired kids.
