Channel Catfish Stocking Discontinued Until Further Notice

Channel catfish stockings have been discontinued until further notice. Existing channel catfish populations remain in the waterbody, but anglers should expect lower catch rates over time due to the absence of continued stocking efforts.

Clearbrook is a three-acre pond in northeastern Frederick County, in the town of Clearbrook Park. The lake is stocked with trout during the stocking season. Grass carp were stocked in 1998 to control excessive aquatic weeds.
