Lake Tams

Lake Tams is a three-acre, storm water retention pond located at Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton. It has a fair largemouth bass population and improving bluegill fishery. Channel catfish are stocked twice a year. Grass carp were introduced to control aquatic vegetation. This lake is one of the Community Lake Improvement Program (C.L.I.P.) lakes, and includes a stocked trout program.
