Event: Deer Hunting Skills – Muzzleloader Course for Women

This is a complete muzzleloader course designed for women 18 years and above, with class discussion, live muzzleloader lessons on selection of different types of guns, cleaning, and storage. A live fire opportunity at the Freedom Outdoors Range is included. Participants will be eligible to be drawn for a mentored muzzleloader deer hunt within the 2026 hunting season on the Eastern Shore of Virginia (date TBA). If you have equipment, please bring it to class UNLOADED AND CASED.

VOW Course: This event qualifies as a VOW @ the Field 2, General Workshop with Live Fire (any species). This event can be used to complete the Hunting Certification in the Virginia Outdoor Women (VOW) Program. This event is open to all registrants.
