Two Eggs
Sometime last night or this morning, the female Peregrine Falcon laid the second egg of her clutch! We have observed the male and female taking turns sitting on their first two eggs, which is typical for Peregrine Falcons. Although we have seen the pair sitting on the eggs as a protective measure from the elements, true incubation will not begin until the third egg of the clutch is laid. The third egg will most likely be laid in the next 2–3 days.
