Second Egg
Sometime in the early hours of Sunday, April 5th the female laid her second egg. We expect a third egg to be laid sometime between April 7th and 8th.

Watch below as the male visits the female in the box and has a turn at sitting on the eggs. Although we cannot hear them, the birds’ vocalizations are likely what are known as ‘ee-chups’, which are given to indicate social recognition.
