Second Egg
Sometime in the early hours of Sunday, April 5th the female laid her second egg. We expect a third egg to be laid sometime between April 7th and 8th.

Male (left) visits female with two eggs in the box
Watch below as the male visits the female in the box and has a turn at sitting on the eggs. Although we cannot hear them, the birds’ vocalizations are likely what are known as ‘ee-chups’, which are given to indicate social recognition.
