Richmond Falcon Cam

Clutch Is Complete

  • March 31st, 2023

If the female were to have laid a 5th egg, we would have expected it to have happened by yesterday afternoon (March 30th).  As we are well beyond that point, we can declare this year’s clutch of eggs complete at 4.  This is the 4th year that 95/AK has nested in Richmond, and her 4th 4 egg clutch.  With egg laying complete, we can begin looking forward to the hatching of the chicks, which we estimate will begin sometime between April 26th and 28th.  Until that time, expect to see both male and female on camera nearly continuously as they incubate the eggs.
