This map and prioritization tool is designed to be a screening-level tool that can be used to investigate potential fish passage projects in the context of many ecological factors. These results are based on the best available data, and using the best judgment of the Chesapeake Bay Fish Passage Workgroup.
Results do not incorporate important social, economic, or feasibility factors and are not intended to be a replacement for site-specific knowledge nor a prescription for on-the-ground action.
These results represent the first final results of the Chesapeake Bay Fish Passage Workgroup’s diadromous fish scenario, and will continue to be refined through 2012. The resident fish and brook trout scenarios remain in draft form. Go to Fish Passage Prioritization Tool ยป
