Join the Marsh Cam Classroom Takeover
Sign up your classroom to control the Marsh Cam, then share the Marsh Cam link with family and friends so they can join in the fun! Marsh Cam is a maneuverable camera and while DWR staff does their best to point the camera towards the places with the most abundant species each day, sometimes those species are just off camera. Our Marsh Cam Takeover gives your students access to move the camera throughout the day to find out what’s going on in the marsh.
What do you get when taking over the Marsh Cam?
- access to the Marsh Cam controls for the day(s) you signed up
- instructions on how to control the Marsh Cam
- a prewritten paragraph for you to share via email or newsletter with student families that describes the takeover so they can be a part of your takeover day
- ways to further engage students in your classroom with the cam during your takeover
Use the booking system below to choose an available date for your Marsh Cam classroom takeover:
Please note that the solar powered Marsh Cam can stop working in poor weather or if the host platform is experiencing issues. We suggest signing up for a back up day.
