Wild forests and the expansive river perfect this marvelous vista. From this site, visitors can launch canoes and kayaks in order to enjoy the splendors of the river. Bald eagle, osprey, herons, and terns are abundant and easily visible to wildlife enthusiasts.

From I-95 in Richmond/Ashland, continue north. Take exit 104 for SR 207 toward US 301/Carmel Church/Bowling Green. Keep right and follow signs for Bowling Green/Fort AP Hill. Merge onto SR 207 E and, in 9.7 miles, continue onto SR 207 Bypass. In 1.4 miles, continue onto US 301 N. After 16 miles, turn right (east) onto SR 623 (Jersey Rd) and continue for 2.6 miles. Turn right (southeast) onto SR 647 (Shiloh Loop) and then right onto SR 3 E. After 3.4 miles, turn right (south) onto SR 681 (Rollins Fork Rd) followed by a right onto SR 627 (Wilmont Rd). In 0.3 miles, turn right to continue on SR 627. Follow this road down to the boat landing.

From Land’s End WMA, return to SR 625/Salem Church Road and turn right, heading east. Go 2.5 miles to end and turn right onto SR 3 East. Continue 0.7 miles and turn right onto SR 681/Rollins Fork. Proceed 0.3 miles and turn right on SR 627/Wilmont Road; travel 2.4 miles to the boat landing.
