Register Today for the Second Annual DWR Archery Open
Richmond, VA — Registration is live for the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources 2026 Archery Open taking place on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
New for 2026, DWR is introducing the Open Championship division where participants will compete with other experienced archers for the chance to win big cash prizes including up to 75% of the registration fees collected for the division. Also new for 2026, the Bowhunter division. This division requires archers to limit their equipment to simulate a bowhunting scenario. Register before Dec. 19 and received a $25 early bird discount, excluding Open Championship registration. Full price registration ranges from $65 to $150 depending on the class.
Also new for 2026 is the Try Archery Range where experienced instructors will guide participants as they learn about the sport in a supportive atmosphere. The Try Archery Range is free, and no experience or equipment is needed to join the fun!
