Event: VOW @ the Camp I – Women’s Introduction to Camping

DWR is excited to host the first Virginia Outdoor Women - VOW @ the Camp I course! Come learn the basics of camping from experienced instructors with Virginia Outdoor Women!

In this introductory course, participants will learn the essentials of camping etiquette (rules & regulations), sleeping systems, food, and gear and clothing considerations. This event also provides a welcoming space for women to network, share experiences, and build lasting connections with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. DWR is dedicated to fostering a community of women who enjoy the outdoors, recognize the importance of conservation and outdoor recreation, and seek opportunities for personal growth, independence, and empowerment.

This course is being held at DWR Headquarters in the Boardroom. No prior experience required. All necessary materials will be provided.
