September 27 – 29, 2024

In partnership with onX Backcountry, DWR is inviting you to join us for Hike for the Wild, a virtual fundraiser that supports the Virginia Wildlife Grant Program, which awards annual grants to non-profit programs focused on connecting people to the outdoors.

Registration closes September 26, 2024. Don’t delay—register now!

How Does it Work?

  1. Register online through GoOutdoorsVirginia.com before September 26, 2024.
  2. We then ship you your finisher medal and event swag. In order to ensure arrival by the time of the event, we recommend registering by September 19, 2024.
  3. Hike a trail of your choosing at your own pace on September 27, 28, or 29, 2024. Pick whichever day is best for you!
  4. Share your results with us and all your friends on social media. We also have an optional challenge where you can compete to win great prizes from our awesome partners. See below for details.
